I've always wanted to make a game that would help inspire creators.

I'm a designer, so my work involves a lot of idea generation.

My way of coming up with ideas is to jump from one thought point to a completely different point, walk there for a while, and then jump back to the different point.

There are several ways to make a "thought jump". A walk, a shower, a chat, reading a book, looking at a picture, strength training, watching a movie, looking at a collage. Eating and going to the bathroom are also good.

This game was designed to be a way to make such "thought jump".

At first glance, each collage in the game seems to be unconnected, but if you look carefully, you may be able to see a slight connection. The environmental sounds and random sound effects might give you a hint about the sounds. The colors, layout, and typography of a collage might give you a hint about art.

No matter what kind of creator you are, I hope this will help you "thought jump".

ブラウザ上で遊べる、プラットフォーマー型のアートゲームです。

このゲームは、Mini Jam 77: Courageのためにおおよそ2日で作られました。

以前から、クリエイターのインスピレーションを助けるゲームを作りたいと思っていました。

私はデザイナーなので、仕事柄、アイデアを出す作業が多いです。

アイデアを出すときの私なりのやり方は、ある思考の地点から全く離れた地点にジャンプして、そこをしばらく歩いて、また離れた地点にジャンプする、というものです。

「思考のジャンプ」の方法はいくつかあります。散歩、シャワー、雑談、本を読むこと、写真を見ること、筋トレ、映画を見ること、コラージュ作品を見ること。食事やトイレなんかも良いでしょう。

このゲームは、そうした「思考のジャンプ」のひとつの手段を目指して作られました。

ゲーム中に登場する、ひとつひとつのコラージュは一見なんのつながりもないように見えますが、注意深く見るとうっすらとつながりが見えるかもしれません。環境音やランダムな効果音は、何か音に関するヒントになるかも。コラージュの色彩やレイアウト、タイポグラフィからアートに関するヒントが閃くかもしれません。
